well i can offer to seperate locations as seeds

both run streamer 24/7 , one of them is on a fixed ip address

and the other is dynamic but can be reached useing ascent.darktech.org

both servers have ups power backup

We could use the static one please.

We assign seeds to one of seedx.streamerp2p.com (x=0 to 9) which streamer looks up when it runs. Can't use a dynamic one attached to a different url.

righty oh bud i will pm you the static ip address

its already running streamer ,, although its tuned to my station as a relay server of sorts

will that make any diffrence

Makes no difference at all, and the extra traffic from being a seed is very very small.

shout me on here or msn if you need it and i will give you the ip

Just run a copy of streamer on onother computer on your network and haveit play your radio station all the time :idea:

Hey there! If you run VM Ware you can play your station on one copy of streamerp2p on a second virtual mashine on the same computer , that wil reduce the trafic to nothing, because the trafic will take place internaly on the same machine, while the seeds will be " VASTLY SPREADED!!!
