Recently I just got this from one of my listener. He took time and effort to type me this a bit angered comment.
I would like to share coz its a free world here goes:

" I just had to load stupid streamer and then wait 30 minutes before music started playing from your site.. and then it play 10 seconds and stopped.. Please modernize and move up to something easy and more reliable for your internet broadcasting. Please use something simple and free for your streaming like *.wma, *.asf, *.asx, or *.mp3 files. Most people have Windows Media on their computer.. We all just click on a streaming audio link and within a few seconds the music is coming through our windows media players and out through our speakers... We don't have to install some other wierd proram or sign up to a service and pay to listen to the radio online. After opening the audio link with windows media player we then add it to our windows media play list and the link is there forever.. We then just open windows media player click on the play list and open the station we want to listen to. One of the Playlists on my windows media player is titled "Philippine Radio Stations" and I have over 30 Philippine Stations I can tune into. Unfortunately... none of the Love Radio stations are on the list, because you all have some unorthodox method of tuning in.. Davao uses web page flash... you use streamer player (???) Cagayan de Oro not working.. Manila DZMB for some crazy reason isn't on the internet.. oh.. music is back.... "hey there lonely.....(girl)" off again... I have over 30 Philippine Radio Stations on my "Philippine Radio Stations" playlist on my windows media player.. unfortunately... none of them are filipino Love Radio Stations. Another thing you might do is find another host and increase your bandwidth.. Try ixwebhosting or better. I have filipino friends here.. and their favorit station in the Philippines was Love Radio DZMB.. but no filipino Love Radio available here in US."

 moved topic to "Streamer Feedback"

Thanks for sharing this feedback :o Surely not the kind of feedback you/we/Iain likes to receive.

Something must went wrong there. 30min for bandwidth test and tuning in is way to long.

You as the broadcaster should not firewall streamer (UDP port 8466 is default). It's a router setting (often called "applications and games" or "port forward"). If both (station and listener) are firewalled / behind a NAT router it is difficult to connect sometimes. Maybe the listener was getting a bad peer or a peer behind NAT and there was a NAT<-->NAT situation.

I don't know how long streamer tries to connect to a peer until it moves on to another one. Iain coded it and probably knows best

There are parts of the complaint i don't understand like:

Ok maybe wierd to him. Not more wierd than Windows Media Player. Are all programs wierd cause they are not shipped with windows by default? And he also has not to sign up or pay anything for streamer. I think he mixed something up. 8)

 I would suggest you to offer him help with tuning in and try to solve his problem. It's better to support users than letting them alone / frustrated.
 How's about a short "get tuned" tutorial on your site? Introduce streamer to your listeners and not just link to the download!
 Users can join the "Lobby" chatroom and asking for help.

8)
