Yeah last place I knew of it's existance was on one NSV video site, but it's a broken link from there. He may have just taken it off to keep from getting popped by the owners of the codec.

I think VP3 is still available. We are all pretty new to video too so please search in the forum for anything you can find from when it was introduced.

i searched the fourm and couldnt find anything, the vp3 codec works, but its nature is variable bitrate, i want ot make a cbr station, i know in the past i wa a little impatient, and im turely sorry for that, but now im workin on trying to lower the bitrate, and well it has problems connecting, ie only when a new video begins/at certian points can you actually watch the stream, if that is a codeing problem wtih key frames (thats what i think it is ne wyz) it would help to get some other opinions, and thanks for the help with this: i want to help you guys get off the ground and i have had a few ppl try out the program and they love it.

See my reply to your other message in "open Topic"

VP3 & 6 are prolly going to go out of favour as they cant be used on MAC's

Plus x264 codec gives better quality at lower bitrates.

Some guy saying 200k video at 320x240 looks almost dvd quality full screen...... seems a liitle crazy.. but the quality is good .. i wouldnt say DVD but it is great.....
