So is there a way to turn off upload so i can just (not to say a bad word) leech the stream and listen while on the road?

i have tmobile internet and can connect but after a few secs i get..upload support messages....

i can support a 45k download upload just sucks ass

Not at this time. YOu see by the very nature of the way p2p works, you must be able to pass along what you are listening to or we are just wasting our time here. There are however a few stations with conventional streams that you could listen to while you are on the road. These are represented by the little yellow speaker.
