Why is the image for my West Coast Promo Man stream intermittently not showing on the live stations page? I think it's the correct dimensions & file size (150x75 & 4894 bytes). Stopping & restarting the stream won't fix it.

If I load the URL pointing to this image in my browser, it always shows up. http://westcoastpromoman.com/logo150x75.gif

It may be a server problem because I use the same image as a link on other web sites & it doesn't always show up there, too. If I right click on it on these web pages & chose "show image" - then it'll appear. However that doesn't work on the live stations page.

looks to be a dns problem
try incerting the real IP and not the hostname

for example:

http://216.207.42.1/<myimage>.jpg

i guess im doing something wrong and, it sucks, but i think this should be much easier. i do a live show, talk a LOT, hard rock, punk music to draw them in when the "the King" is on, is impossible, but once a week cant hurt. I NEED HELP HERE TO GET MY STATION ID BANNER SHOWN IN THE YP!

Or is this the image you want to show in the YP???

where am I supposed to put the link for the graphic on the streamerp2p.com website? It shows up when you click VIEW... is it in the YP field? I thought that was for linking the Oddcast DSP?

Copied and pasted from the broadcast help page of Streamerp2p.com. Please read and or use a google site search on terms if you can't find something. It's all there, it just might have moved around a little bit in the program since the site was written.

The YP info is some extra info about your station that will appear on the live stations page. The url's don't need a 'http://'.

The Website url is the url of your website.

The Image url is the url for an up to 150x75 image that appears with your listing, and is cached on the YP server. The image reader here will also only read up to 25K file size to keep the page load time as low as possible and still maintain the ability to put some decent banners on there. Be aware that any banner that exceeds 150 pixels wide will be resized by the website to 150x75 with no regard to aspect ratio.
