would like it if when people click on my streamer lonk it would tell them or them them to the streamer download page with the advisment they need streamerp2p to get this station :-)

I think he wants it so that when people click on a streamerp2p:// link, but don't have Streamer installed, it would take them to the download page.

I don't think that is possible without using activex, and that has a $150 or so fee for 'signing' the activex control, otherwise it's marked as 'unsafe'. (a 'safe' activex control does not actually mean it's safe, just that someone paid some money). Activex is permanently disabled on my pc, and it's IE only. I don't know if you can do the same thing with java. It is not possible to have a normal url that streamer 'intercepts' if it's installed, unless I grab all url clicks like getright does. and I don't even want to think about doing something that invasive.
