I cannot connect and it maybe due to my firewall (using MSN .

can anyone tell me how to get pass a firewall?

If you have control of your firewall configuration just add whatever port you're using in Streamer (8466 is default) and point that port to what ever PC is running Streamer on your network

8466 > 192.168.0.x


If you don't have acces to your firewall configuration (like a corporate firewall) you probably cannot use Streamer.

How do I know which port I am using?

the port you can see in streamer --> configure --> Ports: UDP P2P

but if you don't know where it is you have not change it and it's the default port 8466

I know where to change the port but what to change it to is what I need to know

what OS installed?
the system running streamer is direct connected to the internet?
is the system in a LAN?

we need more infos to help.

if you use a firewall, dissable it for testing.
turn it back on after testing
