 I can't get over how excellent this program is. You've done an amazing job!

I've suggested Streamer P2P on a Indymedia few mailing lists to people involved in that alternative media and activist media network. It's idea.

Right now I'm streaming here a short playlist of Creative Commons licensed tracks from the Beastie Boys and others compiled by Wired mag.

I can't get over the fact that you've packed the full listening and broadcasting pack into a ZIP that's less than 400k. That alone makes streamerp2p far more attractive than the other p2p radio and video packages I've seen out there.

Thanks :-)

Yes spread the word please, the more publicity the better. If it gets enough it will reach critical mass before the better funded competition shows up...

80k of that 400k is an image. The rest is code, plus a few data tables, and a dll. I don't use MFC, so I instantly save at least a meg in bloat.

Axel, please don't take it for flaming, my English isn't very good. But why do you want to use mp3PRO as OGG is free and good sounding too ? Streamer can decode OGG...

Decoding mp3pro internally requires licensing fees to be paid to the makers of mp3pro. There may be a possibility of allowing you to use the Thompson mp3pro decoder with Streamer as a seperate download in the future. Otherwise, what would you pay to have Streamer with internal mp3pro?? because if we put it in there, we'd have to charge for it.
