Well I havent stopped using it YET,
but this evening I encountered a problem that really friggin **** me oof,
I installed multiple streamers In to different folders oN completely different drives on my PC,
when I stopped my regular stream and opened a different copy of streamer all of my copies reverted to BLANKS!
IE: all station info, My station ID, (I am now on my fourth bythe way)
everything was gone then it took me 2 try's or onto my fourth copy of this to get it back up and running well enuff to broadcast...

WHAT GIVES!

Each Streamer keeps its config, stations, etc in the same folder as the exe. The new copies of Streamer in new folders will start out with default config etc. The original Streamer will keep its config and station etc. Opening a new one does not erase the config of the existing one. This is how I do testing with several Streamers with different configs at the same time.

If this is infact the case why could I not retrieve my old STATION ID?

the block for station ID isnt allowing me to, plug in the old numbers' i had to keep clicking new station ID?

so like I said I tried it 3 different times last night and each version I opened was blanks...

Maybe Its Just that I dont know what the hell I am doing,
and allthough I said it before,
I am just going to leave it alone,
I dont wish to broadcast more then 1 stream now....

One more thing, if I had Multiple stremers in seperate folders then How come every time I tried to open one it stated
"Streamer is allready open"///

Or does this go back to the different port thing???

I have never seen the message "Streamer is already open". I HAVE seen the message "This copy of Streamer is already running." If this is the message you are getting, then it is in fact the same copy you are trying to run twice. If you start a second copy of Streamer in a seperate folder and it is configured to use the same port as the first copy, Streamer itself will change to an unused port. This is what the "IN USE" fields represent in the config screen.

K mEat that is the message I was getting I just used the wrong words.

Also as of last Night i gave it one more try,
making sure my broadcast stream was up and running first,
and a second copy was able to open and run,

I dont know how I did it, but I did it and it worked....

Dammit I hate when I say Im giving up, cuz rarely do I....
