Just a quick poll to see how much time you spend tweaking your broadcast station each day. This includes playlist updates, bitrate testing, live on air time etc...

Hi all,
I have been on air LIVE and in the studio since around 10am today (it's now 4.30pm), I'll be here on air LIVE till way past 1am in the morning when Radio UK One will go automated with what I call the Chill Zone. It's really an excuse to get some sleep.

I've been doing similar time pattern for several days now. My family think I'm mad!! I believe that UK One is Streamers' only LIVE station, with LIVE presenting, not just looped music, for this amount of time each day anyway... I may be wrong, though!

I've been making appeals for others to help, too. I can't keep up these sort of hours alone, I really do have another life!!! But, for now at least, I think it will help me show that I'm serious about this.

I wonder if there are other LIVE stations on air at the moment.

Look forward to hearing from you all.

Peter,
Radio UK One - really live - really knackered!

Lately , as in since thursday April 6th,
I have spent less then 30 minutes perday,
and that was only 3 times,
as of this morning,
all I get is buffering and huge lags(over 200) and sorry but even for a fun hobby this has turned into nothing but a HUGE hassle.
It seems that the connection (connecting to my self for monitoring) WHICH I ALSO NOTED DURING BETA, has now turned into an allmost impossibility. One day last week I turned my stream on opened a monitor, connected and left my home to go shopping, Upon eturn it still had NOT connected to my own stream. today I tried again,
with 3 diff players,
at best I got a connection for about 20 seconds then buffer and lag for 30 minutes...
If its that hard for me to connect to my own ******,
then I can imagine what its going to be like for short attention span listners, INCUDING myself.
1.40 worked superior to this new version ,
which upon release I was all for.
Its a great Program , when its working.
but as of late For my use its maybe 30% workable, as in I can listen ONLY.
