Some of you know where Nfld and Labrador is and some of you don't. We're the eastern most province in Canada and use to be our own country.

Started out as England's first colony which means our music is heavily influenced by Irish, English and Scottish folk music. What you'll hear can from the serious to the humorous.

I will play Nfld and Labrador artists and bands mostly but will add in other folk music from time to time. Around December 15th I will stream Newfie Xmas tunes.

Enjoy the tunes and remember if you like an artist or band purchase their music.

I do :) but I can't find your station. What's it called?

I'm http://www.smartlabrador.ca/rfl - Radio Free Labrador. Our Atlantic Canada playlist kicks in at quarter past the hour (NF time! - quarter to elsewhere).

PS: looks like the quoting capability of this board is broken....

It seems the compliments about the picture were for you as Radio Free Labrador!
Didn't found Niewfie Music either yet, still like Celtic!
