Is it possible to change the websitename in our own websitename

Not possible at the moment but i think about it. I add it to the ToDo list
Scrolltext is not clickable anyway. Normaly the widget is on the station website and it makes no sense to show the same url again.

Yes, you are right but 2 times the name of streamerp2p is the same effect, hahahaha
A better solution is to take it away from the scroll, only announcing "No Broadcasting Right Now" for example is enough
btw I ask it now for more then 2 years, do you know when the java version is coming??

Hi, yes thats the next problem, the 1.98 is not compatible with older versions so we need to inform all our listeners or keep using the old one. The last thing we will do and I think many broadcasters with us. We are using streamerp2p as a additional way to listen for more then 2 years on our website, but I think the devolopment is not good. The java version is inportent, then we will have very more listeners and will the system be a succes. We wait now so long our patience is almost gone. In two years streamerp2p has not grown, there are less stations now. We asked Ian several times for the Java but he even answer. We will look at it for a little time and then drop streamerp2p when nothing happens.

It's not backwards compatible cause 1.98b is using a new improved protocol. I don't know if you tried it.

Every time there is a new streamer version the users get a message informing them to update (program checks for update). Just install over the old version and done no need to uninstall.

Agreed development is slow but v1.47 is working great and running stable for over two years now  You know that no one here get any money for this? We have a normal fulltime job

My Friend, I agree we don't get payed also for our work, but................ a volonteer job is also a job, when we promise something we must keep that promise.

You know like I do the Java client is very inportant for the future of streamerp2p, like you said the old version 1.47 is very stable so its mine opinion; its no use to work on a new one but let Iain do what he promise for already 2 years, just make the Java. If he can't do it let him just say it, then we know were we stand and make our decicions, let him be clear, just yes or no. On this moment there are often more stations on air then listeners, that can't be the future of a broadcasting system.

Sorry, for me this conversation ends here.
I'm the wrong person to discuss this with. If Iain has something to tell you he will contact you or reply to this posting.
