Well I discovered what my problem was. Well a lot of them. Trying all these new versions of Edcast and others one ends up being prompted to install Ms netframework 2005 garbage, it put this diry big virtual adapter MS TV thing used to stream USB packets through a local server.. twas was sniffing at the local streams and pushing vlc browser plugin and VLC to open and everything else at the same time.

I tried to install some vid capture driver Hmelyoff Labs VH Toolkit, experimented with multi source A/V switching, tick a box wrong and it doesnt load properly again.

With netframe it opened VHCapture.exe every time I would initiate a local stream to any local host listening including any and all USB audio and USB video devices. When I had This Netframe installed I had every problem to virtual screen capture progs constantly opening up to when I plugged in USB devices it would kick all my USB and harware video and sound cards off cross platforms. A quick fix is to just make a static IP for the virtual adapter. Best uninstall the netframe. It never works for me when I need it.

I had vp6 streams running here in 2006, I used a video capture card and NSV cap. made my own DVDS for playing videos connection for live bcasts for video and a standard AV video switch. I use native 24bit auido hardware systems and 80 bit sythesis and been hard disk recording for 9 years now. since cool pro 1. Just a little rusty on this streamer stuff.

I booted up the old win98 machine with all my old foolz toolz, found an old version of Oddcast that doesnt require the netframe, completely wiped the MS netserver. Presto my system started to work again smoothly, since the MS netframe removal my streamer has stopped using exactly 50% of my resources. Weird that. A little bit scary the new world of bcasting tools is.

As for the PLS fix Im not sure if this was the problem as I could connect VLC to mystery science theartre with no issue even with the MS virtual adapter.

Has anyone else had these problems with Netframe? I think I also may of picked up a rouge process with isntalling all the garbage.

I almost got NSV gui and shoutcast dnas working but the config file is confusing. Im editing to see what I can do to get it to stream to streamer p2p.

Any one had any luck with a dnas running as a video server? If so some tips would be nice.
