Here is a little HoWTo for all those got problems with the minimum upload settings for their p2p stream or the % settings for 'conventional' and 'p2p' broadcast.
1. Watch out for the peak level of the bitrate from your stream shown up in the streamer 'Stations' window.

You need your maximum Streambitrate
(edited 29.07.2003)

Streamer calculates the average bit rate for approx.. 1 minute.
Sometimes a view more kb of the stream is sent, so use your WinAmp to observe your maximum bitrate by listening to your stream via lokalhost, too.
Open location in WinAmp(playlist focus and "Ctr L")
Type
http://127.0.0.1:
TCPAudioPort/audio/
StreamID.ogg (or mp3)
2. Try this first beta formula:
all streams <= 80 kb need a
minimum upload setting = maximum Bitrate + 1/12th bitrate
all streams over 80kb need a
minimum upload setting = maximum Bitrate + 1/11th bitrate
Be generous and round upward
for example:
I will broadcast: 24kb stream mp3
My ISP connection: dsl 128 up = 100%
24 + 2.88 = 26.88 (27kb)
streamer needs at least 26 - 27 up to broadcast 1(one) p2p stream.
27kb / 1.28 = 21.09 % minimum for p2p setting (22%)
(128kb / 27kb = 4.74 streams availible)
128kb - 27kb = 101kb left
101kb / 1.28 = 78.91%(78%)
Settings in streamer: 21% for p2p and 78% for conventional.
Streamer change the % settings always to total 99% , only 50%/50% show 100% in total.
64kb mp3
you need minimum 69 up|down setting in streamer to boadcast. Otherwise the stream always seeking.
Also the listener need at least 69 up|down to tune in.
Ok, 69 *2 = 138 up/down minimum
50% p2p | 50% conventional
This computation is correct only, if the bit rate does not change.
So if you do the funky ogg wach out a long time for your Maximum Bitrate!!!!
If you do not set your upload speed at least to the minimum settings, your stream is not availible for others!
One last thing: The uploadspeed of your ISP is not always as high as you pay for

so do a upload test on some of those
http://test_my_upload_speed.tld <-- does not work
websites first and than recalculate.
